Hello,

a bit about me:

My name is Tina.

I am currently a Medical Advisor at Novartis in Ophthalmology.

I completed my Ph.D. in the Department of Biomedical and Molecular Sciences (Pharmacology and Toxicology) at Queen’s University in Kingston, ON.

My field of research is multidisciplinary and includes: Pharmacology and Toxicology; Cardiovascular Disease; Hypertension; Obesity; Metabolic Syndrome; Female Sexual Dysfunction; Erectile Dysfunction; Vascular Signalling and Remodeling; Chronic Kidney Disease; and Vascular Calcification.

I was funded by the competitive Canadian Institute of Health Research – Fredrick Banting and Charles Best Doctoral Award. I have had the opportunity to share my research through publications in peer reviewed scientific journals as well as presentations at regional, national and international conferences for which I received three "best presentation" awards.

When I am not working you can find me going for a run with my two dogs, Argos and Lupin, taking photographs with my DSLR, enjoying the company of family and friends, travelling, or going out of my comfort zone to learn something new.

Feel free to take a look around, check out my CV, manuscripts, recent adventures as well as news and updates. I am happy to contact via the links provided at the bottom of the page.

Sincerely,

 Tina
